Connect with a peer volunteer one-on-one for support. Whether you are someone who has experienced abuse, provided formal or informal support, or struggled with unhealthy relationship behaviours, we will work to pair you with a peer volunteer who you can connect with in-person, by phone or via email to discuss issues that are relevant to your current situation and experiences
GROUP SESSIONS
Intake appointment to domestic violence treatment groups (delivered separately for men and women) who have been professionally referred and/or mandated by the legal system.

Connect to a range of peer-based groups for anyone impacted by domestic abuse. Domestic abuse can make you feel isolated. Being able to connect with others who can empathize with where you are provides a sense of community and understanding.

Connect to a drop in style peer-based group for anyone supporting people impacted by domestic violence. This setting allows informal supporters to come together to discuss experiences, ask questions, and provide you with encouragement, assistance, and relief.
GROUP SESSIONS
Men are the intended audience for this group. Sahara Men’s Domestic Violence Group is a psychoeducational program that educates and assists participants by addressing underlying attitudes and beliefs towards domestic violence. PCHS Counsellors provide skills to participants in adopting new ways of resolving conflict and managing anger. Facilitated group discussions provide ongoing support, educational and interactive activities.
